David Taler, DDS, FAGD, DABOI/ID, is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Fishers and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Taler attended Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania before receiving his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He participated in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Clerkship, where he developed advanced knowledge and expertise in implantology, oral surgery, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. He also joined the Baltimore Veterans Affairs residency program, where his leadership and dentistry skills earned him the Chief Resident position.
Dedicated to lifelong education, he has achieved Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry, Mastership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and board-certified diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology, the highest level of achievement in implant dentistry. As a decorated lacrosse player, he became a member of the Delphic Society, an organization recognizing individuals who achieve the highest levels of performance in academia, athletics, and community service.
Dr. Taler believes in giving back to the community and has been a volunteer at the Gennesaret Free Dental Clinic since 2013. He received the 2021 Honorary Member Award from Indiana University for outstanding achievement in dentistry and was named a topDentist™ for 2020 and 2021. His wife, Dr. Natalie Mercho, is a fellow dentist and sees patients in our Zionsville office. They have three children and enjoy cheering them on in various sports and other activities. They both also enjoy cooking and spending time in the community with their family.
